കത്തുകള് പെട്ടെന്നാണ് അവസാനിക്കുന്നത്. നീണ്ട വേനല് അവസാനിച്ചപ്പോള് ഇന്ദിരയ്ക്കു പര്വതവാസത്തില്നിന്നു മടങ്ങിപ്പോരേണ്ടിവന്നു. 1929-ല് മുസ്സൂറിയിലേക്കോ മറ്റു പര്വതവസതിയിലേക്കോ അവള് പോയതുമില്ല. അവസാനത്തെ മൂന്നു കത്തുകളില് ഒരു പുതിയ ദശാകാലം തുടങ്ങുകയാണ്, അവ ഈ കൂട്ടത്തില് ചേരുന്നവയല്ല. എന്നാല് ഞാന് ബാക്കിഭാഗം എഴുതിച്ചേര്ക്കുന്ന കാര്യം സംശയത്തിലായതുകൊണ്ട് അവയും ഇതില് ചേര്ത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.-ജവഹര്ലാല് നെഹ്റു.
